The bead queennnnn

I have been beading on the other crazy quilt purse and thinking of making three purses out of it...using what I have done for the flap and adding fabric for the body..Oh yeah...if anyone has any bright ideas for what to do to the bird block...it needs something...NO NO flies...its not going to eat a fly!!

These are what iffff pictures...what if I cut the purse into three pieces and used the crazy quilt as the flap and a wonderful cotton print for the bag?? Whatcha think?! This is a trial and of course the green was not good enough...I auditioned two more colors...so what do you think??? Come on I know you have an opinion......
The pink fabric in this audition is on sale for 1.99 at Hancocks of paducah...do you hear me groaning...of course I got mine at PPQ last year...and its long gone from there....

.

I am also determined to finish ONE of the three amulet bags that I started in June...as small as they are you would think they would be done but no they are not!! But two are almost done...and this is one of them from Moda Seaside fabrics...reminds me of old worn out linen upholstery....yummy soft worn colors...

and this is the other...made from an Oriental that my friend Connie gave me...not that you could see the fabric...why is that?? Gotta quit using nice fabric for crazy quilting...

this is an atc I did as a class demo in class at PPQ...showing how to do the rolled whip stitched edge and how to couch...I kinda like it alot...just stuff out ta the scrap bag...did I tell you I am famous for my scrapbags?!.

You are one busy lady. Could you explain exactly how you did the rolled edge on the ATC. Love this!
