How to Prepare your quilt for quilting

Clip all threads from the back of your quilt and press any folds out of it.

The back needs to be 8 inches longer and wider than your quilt.  So if your quilt is 56" x 70" your back needs to be 64" x 78".  Be sure it is ironed without any folds or creases in it.
