I made this purse Sat nite...it was a really quicky...took two hourse to cut it out and sew it to this point..It has a snap top and really could just be a clutch but I am NOT a clutch kind of girl....now the problem...I have a jillion tiny cords to turn to make the handle...which is braided from three bias strips of the fabric...
This purse is a fun pattern that I got at Waechters Silk Shop in Asheville in June...and the fabric I have had around for years....liked it too much to use it...but I wanted a black fabric and I have a cute little cat pin or two that I am going to add to whatecer I jazz it up with besides the beads IF I can ever figure out HOW to turn the handles with those darn tube turners....anyone want to tell me HOW?!!!

ReplyDeleteBeastly job turning small bits, I tend to sit them on my tummy and just work at them sometimes my haemostats work better, sometimes well it doesnt happen!
