Done...I was given this box of TART conversation hearts today at work...I had expected the usual sweet ones that I like this time of the year...but OH NO these were tart...and then an odd after taste. The kindergartners and I decided they were good ....we taste tested them. I had to guard the ones left so I could do my challenge...guess tomorrow we can share them after school!!
Ha,ha,ha...I love it! I had the same idea! I too came home from work and did mine up tonight. I really like your composition. I've learned something.
ReplyDeletenice. i would prefer tart hearts too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful drawing, Maggie. And you found a way to combine 'something sour or tart' with Valentine's day!
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile- Happy V-Day! What a perfect scattering of tarts- you've captured the shadows in such a way that rienforces the tumble of candy out of the box without making it look muddy, or heavyhanded. Reeeeaaallu nice!
ReplyDeleteLovely sweet tarts, and beautifully done, i also like the scissor collections, very nice!

Great answer to the tart challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreat sketch! I like the lettering too.
ReplyDeleteI've been away and return to find that despite being busy you've been prolific with your drawings! This one is great and cheerful despite its tartness!
ReplyDeleteOooh Maggie _ I just love this - it made me smile a lot! I am reminded of the same sort of sweet that we used to have in Australia as a 'gal' - they had a sort of chalky consistency and your drawing has brought back the taste to me! Jules
ReplyDeleteYour drawing just sparkles with life. I've been snacking on these little goodies all day today (the sweet ones though--can't deal with sour stuff). You really captured them in a 3-dimensions!
