What do do with your leftover yarn

this first hat was knitted with the leftover noro yarn that i had discarded from various projects either not liking the color with the colorway or didnt want black or grey in them. Theres a lot of those colors in some noro color ways...and if they dont run right.as in if they are tied into the skein instead of being spun into the skein it does NOT look good...or if you are going for a bright colored hat...who wants black or greyed colors...but all together they look great dont they??? and i know just the person who is getting this hat...she will love it because the top knot colors are all hers.

Hat #9 Leftovers-the handsome guy on the right is my middle son....

mom, and two twins.....
HAT #10
for my nieces and their mom my sil in athens...i can say if you are using worsted either use a smaller needle or double up the worsted...going to go double on the next one i think....my favorite has been either the noro or the lambs pride worsted which is thicker than alot of worsted weights...

OH a suggestion...if you get hooked on these hats...how about donating HAIRY hats to the chemo cap people...some people would love it ...others might not...guess it would have to be on a personal choice basis...but so far if they will wear a hat they think these are GREAT!!!!

And just for fun..the future owner of the leftover hat gave me a snow lady for Christmas...and I found two more at TJMaxx...I meant to give them as Christmas presents but they are so full of life insouciant that i just had to keep them...arent they just full of joy?
