Almost Done and Innova

Almost Done

Quite excited - Almost Done and Innova were both accepted to the GA Quilt Show in Duluth, GA AKA Atlanta burb starting October 16!!!! I was supposed to have sent two checks - one per quilt because they cover mailing and had only sent one...They called me to see what i wanted to do...enter one or both because they wanted both of them entered:> BIG GRIN:> WOOT!!!

finished the binding on this one Sunday nite...its only about 3'x4' but the binding took about 6 hours of steady sewing to finish....its all those inny corners....a tip to the wise do not do these corners with a double binding...thats almost impossible to make it look neat on the back...and did i say i could do needle turned applique and have gotten awards for it so i can blind stitch with the best of them...but not these if they are double...

This quilt has a single thickness binding on it...much easier to do neatly.
