THIRTY FIVE hours of quilting and its done except for tweaking....a few wrinkles here and there have to go...I didnt say before but all the quilting was unmarked except for the spines of the feathers...which were marked with a blue washout pen Posted by Picasa

Hi...I am assuming this was done with a long arm...it is beautiful!

I have this pattern, it's in my UFO pile...this just may inspire me to finish it! Is it hand appliqued? or fused?

this is just beautiful, even though I am not that much into doing applique. (however I have been working off and on this past year on an applique quilt, which just happens to be my largest piece so far.) And the sunrise photos are gorgeous!

It's wonderful - I've enjoyed watching its evolution! thanks for sharing. And only 35 hours to do all that gorgeous quilting... and I've been complaining about quilting the Irish Chain quilt for my granddaughter - and it doesn't look even half as good as yours. But then it's going on the bunk bed of a 13 year old who has 3 cats and 3 dogs, a brother, sister and a foreign exchange student all of whom will be on that quilt at one time or another!
Great job!
