Yahoo I sold my last years jounral quilts

and I know they will look stunning in thier new location...much better than they looked on my sewing room table...best thing about the sale besides the nice juicy check was that it was totally unexpected...we were just having show and tell...something quilters do...sharing thier projects...and I picked these up off the sewing room table at the last minute and added to the pile....

I decided to make a fruit of the month...there are more but these are the ones i could find the pictures of...They have been all over the world...in Houston at INternational quilt festival, in Vermont at the Vermont Quilt Show and Chicago at Spring Festival and in Spain at the Barcelona show..those are the ones I can remember...there may be more?? who knows...only Karey can keep up with every place these journal quilts travel....

Lemons January - Citrus is a winter thing right?
Cherries...got to be February for cousin George who couldnt tell a lie...but never chopped down that cherry tree...and all the males in my family LOVE cherry pie...two of them were born in February...
Plums - March...around here they start blossoming then...gorgeous things....and I even hand dyed these fabrics...yes I did:>

Peaches - June I think..thats when they come in ...lovely yummy things they are...last thru August...yummmm did i say I love peaches? I have also had a long running love affair with peaches painting them and now in fabric....they are a beautiful fruit...

Pears - September...pretty color...and come in when fall is starting to touch the air...

Somewhere there are Tomatoes...you know they are a fruit...July....they will join the sold pile as soon as I dig them up...NOW WHERE did i hide them???:>
