A new take on the apple challenge and

a few more daily drawings...aka DRAWING in PUBLIC OHHHNOOOO...these were all done in public... I have been on a quilt retreat at Lake Thurmond at Hickory Knob State Park...and I did actually sew...two bindings on two BIG quilts but later about that...

I kept up my daily drawings...even though I didnt feel like it...but once I started I was into it...I got my friend Connie to pose for me in a room full of about 20 people...it looks like her...although she does NOT have those big huge shadows under her gorgeous big blue eyes...what some people will go thru for their friends:>
Then when we were back in the cabin I drew these apples with the most fabulous navel oranges, pinecones and gum balls with my prismacolor pencils...fun to do...This was our centerpiece that I had arranged the day for lunch yesterday...each cabin is in charge of one meal and of course we ladies had to have a centerpiece...

Last a fast seriptious sketch of my friends Judy and Ille...I think it needs color...and NO they dont look like that....Judys nose is a cute little sharp turned up nose and Ille is NOT fat like in the picture..in fact she is thin.....

but ALL of these DRAWINGS WERE DONE IN PUBLIC...OM goodness...they started saying DONT draw me...:> HEY HEY ...I will get them when they arent looking:> Yes Rachel I am talking about you:> I mean if you cant draw your good good friends who can you draw???:>

GREAT Maggie! Congratulations on getting over the "fear of public" monster. You really did a lot of nice work on these!
