So today i was at borders

drawing people...one guy was really fun to draw...lollying back in his chair completely relaxed reading a Pro Football mag...these were drawn in my wc moleskine with a hmm sepia pitt pen...now the problem is the paper is sooo thin i want to wc them...

I felt like the spider with a fly in my web when this girl sat down to read....it was ah ha someone else to draw...

Maybe i was caught in the act..this guy didnt sit long but got up before i was done...maybe he knew my drawing was bad:> he must have known i ruined his nose...he was a handsome guy...oh well...two out of three is not bad...

great capturing these people at the borders - i admire you drawing in public - something i have yet to feel comfortable doing. you must be quick too! 2 outta 3 definitely is good :-)

Very cool. When I sketch people in cafes I only ever dare do it from behind them. Does have the advantage of meaning you don't have to draw those tricky faces!

I was checking all my favorite blogs, one after the other. Thirty seconds before I got to yours I saw this one:http://gabicampanario.blogspot.com/2007/06/borders-in-lynnwood.html
and thought you'd be interested after your Border experience. I was there 2 days ago and have no drawings to show for it! - Barbara

hi maggie, i guess the planets were aligning in a way for both of us to go to Border's yesterday and draw and post our stuff on our blogs, how funny! i like your spider metaphor, and it seems like you had a good feast here. the guy with the hat is my favorite.
