a few last sketches from May
well i started these in may for the everyday in may challenge......just the sketch part...but did the watercolor last nite ...
These are done in my moleskine with watercolor pencil...to keep the trees sort of loose(LOOSE for ME:>) i just touched the pencil with a wet brush and let it do what it wanted...did a similar thing on the leaves of the plants....I posted both because i think its interesting how different they are in color intensity although i colored both of them within minutes of each other...i think it must have to do with the ink in the second one...used brighter colors on that one.
I did this one twice because i did not like the way the ink sketch turned out...i like it much better now that it is colored....Leeanne, my son Drew's girlfriend, is a big reader...they both are.....I think they are catching up on all the reading they missed when they were in law school...so they both make great subjects for sketches when they are here...

Lovely bright sketches, and the porch is the way to stay cool - whooee, 60's today here and tomorrow near 100 yikes, I may crack!!
I like the sketch showing through showing part of the process. I'm trying to post everyday (in June)and already I've missed 2 days by posting after midnight! Thanks for your comment on my sink sketch. Continued success.
Very very nice!
