of course i drew another one

and i have a huge vertical line sketch underway...its 16x24...but for now you will have to be content with this sketch of my friend Connies house ...a Queen Anne house built in the early 1900s..lots of odd angles and perspective and NO i did not even try to draw her scalloped shingles on the second floor...its a beautiful old house...

bytw have you ever tried to draw a pine bough with only vertical lines??? NOT easy!

ok so now you are wondering WHY did she repost these? I scanned these instead of taking pictures of them...they are so much clearer than the others i posted...so here they are

These are all so wonderful Maggie. Your art class has certainly changed your medium and style right now.

Maggie, what a wonderful talent you have, and how fortuitous that it spreads through several mediums. These black-and-whites are beautiful...can't wait to see what you do to them with fabric and thread!

These turned out great! I recently stood in line at a bakery where there was a very large graphite drawing on the wall using only vertical lines. It was quite beautiful. I forgot abut wanting to try this technique until I saw your work. I'll check back soon to see more!

simply wonderful! I'm so glad you are willing to share your sketches! Love the vertical line work. Something else for me to put on the list to experiment with. :) The details on the house are gorgous!
