Finally its done..

Well first I thought that I had lost it...and it was all done but the strap!! Searched high and low and finally found it in one of my crazy quilt bags that I made a couple of years ago...
Here is my crazy quilt over the top purse that I am going to teach at People Places and Quilts next quarter. Its really alot easier to do than it looks...will be finishing the faster version soon if I can stop making Katrina quilts for a day or two.
So do you think the cord is too much??? Should I cut it loose and just use it as a strap??? I am thinking its a little much...let me know what you think.

I think the cord is great, but then again, I would be hard pressed to find ANYTHING wrong with this!! I love it!

How can the cording be too much for and 'over the top' purse. I looks GREAT!

There's no such thing as "too much" in crazy quilting!

Maggie - It is GORGEOUS! Love it. I'd keep the cord as it's perfect. Congrats on a job well done. Ellen Guerrant.

Mwecy .. I hate to be the lone dissenter .. but I don't care for the cord. It seems too busy with the assorted colors and seems to fight with all the pretty intricacy of the pouch itself. Perhaps a larger cording of a solid color would set it off, like a mat in a frame sets off a picture. Dark purple would be nice .. red, blue, even the old standby black would help the colors to be more distinctive and pop. Yeah, yeah .. free advice is worth what you pay for it .. but that's mine. Lovely bag, though. Nice work! Warm hugs, Maggie
