some things I learned drawing the tv

decided two things while I was drawing this...the bland boring off white walls have got to go and that I would try to put Miss Marple on the tv screen...I have watched all the Miss Marple shows made for ETV at least twice now. I just love their small English village charm and Miss Marple is so charming and never misses a thing that goes on. I was going to wait till Monk came on tomorrow nite to draw the show but then I realized Miss Marple is a real favorite too...so here she is...oh what else did I learn ...cant draw people on tv with a large marker...need a fine small marker...gotta go get some...well in some other color than purple ...much more fun to color these drawings than to do them...tv cabinets are a pain...

BYTW I tried drawing Miss Marple like someone told me to draw animals...parts to add up to a whole...it sorta worked...fine pens would have made this so much easier. Maybe I will try again tomorrow when I watch the other Miss Marple video.Posted by Picasa

I LOVE Miss Marple. Agatha Christie is my favorite author. You did a great job drawing her. I also like the pictures of your puppies. :)

Hugs,
Melinda

I love miss Marple too. I tried to read it in English what is extremely hard for me (I am Czech, English is second language for me). After long time a a lot of wokr I realised who was killer in 4.55 Padington station.

That is a very good sketch and as you say, the colouring makes it far more interesting.

Great sketch! I just tried doing this challenge, and could not manage getting my TV show to be recognizable ... now I'm doubly impressed with those of you who pulled it off! Again, great job!
