Fiber things I have been doing

Lucky person that I am have had a PURRRFECT fiber week...two things that if you get a chance you should RUN not walk too:

I know I have not said much about fiber but I have been busy......three ez log cabins tshirt quilt and three bags...and a couple of pairs of socks...guess I should line it up and photo it...BUT this is what I did this past week...we went to fiber on a whim Tuesday for installment three of Patti Culeas Stargazey tome... and as usual we had a blast..Jan Girod is a hoot...very funny lady and the queen of the store.....bought too much...a delicious dragonfly button my fav thing I bought this time...getting quite a collection of these beauties......

its like going to a store that has everything you ever heard about on the quiltart list and some more. each little room features a different item...I try to stay out of the hand dyed room..too much temptation with delicious stuff...we drew faces today with using pigma pens and watercolor pencils...and yes we did watercolor on fabric...here is my lady...not quite done... think i will save her for an ATC or a postcard or whoooo knows...but first add some highlighs to her eyes....

Last weekend we spent two days with Dianne Hire doing some of her quilters games...and she is just the best teacher there ever was and some of us have taken from the very best around......this is some of the first games that I did...taped up on the design wall in the church where we had class...this is hopscotch and tic tac toe...and pick up sticks...I am going to add more...but I am going upstairs to sew on my musical chairs..no nopic yet but soon i hope....

Dianne was very inspiring...spent Sunday and MOnday weeding my fabs down ...getting rid of mud...did I say I do like mud sometimes but its got to go...you know when you weed a liberry or your fabrics you find little gems you had forgotten...
