IN The meantime...here is a turkey we are going to make with the kidnergartners tomorrow...three of us have been picking up leaves since Friday. We have a copy of Lois Elert's Leaf Man book...the leaf man blows across the countryside and one page has a turkey very similar to this one on it..tomorrow we are going to make them with the Kindergartners...we are all excited and HOPE they will do a great job...we are reading Leaf Man first...you can get it from Amazon...
NEXT I have FIVE pages all to myself in the retrospective of the Journal QUilt Showe called Creative QUilting...only Gloria Hansen has more pages than I ...its a lovely book..coffee table art type...weighs a ton and jam packed with scrumptious pictures of the journal quilts...The journal quilt exhibit was done everyyear at International QUilt Festival in Houston. I have participated every year...my first years set of quilts were bought by Festival compliments of Ms. Karey Bresnehan...they also were picked favorites of the exhibit...it made my day for about a year...then one of them was published by Pokey Bolton in Quitling Arts...yahoo...and now Five whole pages in the book copub by Karey and Pokey...you can get one at www.quiltingarts.com .great book!! Well done ladies...

Next pair of socks i htink...going to try out #11 in the new vogue knitting magazine...small cables...did i say I LOVE to knit cables?!

I love your turkey. I'm going to show it to a friend who teaches nursery school here in France and has been saving leaves with the kids. They don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I'm sure she'll be inspired. Your kitty drawings are really good, too, so much personality. You inspire me draw my own cat! And congratulations on having 5 pages dedicated to your work in the quilting book. I really admire your productivity.
I love your Kinder project! That's a terrific book. In fact, any of her books is terrific. They will do a wonderful job, (or did one) and they will be fabulous.
The socks are too cute. You finish one pair and start right in on another? With one waiting in the wings!
