This weeks accumulation of what i have been up to:>

This is a pack of Denise Schmidt(i think that is her name) flea market fabrics that I bought from Hancocks...didnt pick them out ...just bought what they had in the pack...then I whacked them out and sewed them together without a bit of forethought...I think its funny how the turning twenty quilt always turns out very interesting as long as you like the fabrics you are using. I hope i get it done for Christmas for my moms present...a tv throw...then they can turn down the heat and save even more money...got to knock out a red white and blue one for my dad the Marine:> The Denise quilt will remind my mom of her childhood..which does attract her to quilts now that shes 80...no shes not reverted to childhood yet..i think it just evokes happy memories for her...bytw my ginger moogy loves this quilt...may have to draw him on it...

These are three funky dolls I bought at TJMaxx for a song...the red one was the most expensive at $9 or $10 but of course you know i was getting the max for the minimum...and elsewhere they would have cost more...just thought they were tooo fun to leave...my bad right?! Now i have them pinned across the fireplace!

THese are my UGLY socks that are almost done...usually i can knock out socks in a day or twooo but i have been a little slow with this pair..took me almost a week...not good...since I have all this yarn i thought i had to have....the basket overflowth...

so far only my friend connie likes the color...i dont even like them..think i might overdye them with blue koolaid...now that could be YUMMMYYYY

THis are some hand dyed lovelies that I got from Kaleidoscope yarns...http://www.kyarns.com/ BTyw there is a 10% discount code in the new interweave magazine...course did i have it ...nope...a friend of mine just bought the magazine...shipping on this yarn was amazing..i ordered it W or TH and it was on the front porch yesterday by lunch time!! Now thats service...

Upclose with the SUpersock yarn by Cherry Hill at Kaleidoscope...about 20 lovely colors....and if you order $100 you get free shipping....now if i had just had that code...:>

BYTW I did crop all these pictures but for some reason when I upload them they were not cropped anymore....

Call me weird, but i like those socks...the color in them. But blue kool aid would probably make them look good too.

The dolls are wonderful! At first I thought you made them and I was thinking, "Is there anything that woman doesn't do?" =) That's a wonderfully cheerful quilt for your mom.
