So I decided to post even though its not drawing or quilting...

I have been busy....I have been knitting up a storm...since Thanksgiving...at least 5 or 6 pairs of socks, a felted purse, a binary code scarf 6 feet long for Emily and hmmm oh yes a wild Santa hat for Connie and a tam, scarf and mittens for one of the kids at school.......sorry no picture of it...but we will get one if I have to force them both to lay down on the scanner:>

This is a picture of Emily (Drew's fiance) and Drew(my youngest son) ...Emily is wearing the scarf....have of its flung over her neck...they are posing in front of my new book case in the family room...floor to ceiling ...lovely shelves....still working on filling them up....

So I guess now I have to knit Em a binary code hat....to match the scarf with that leftover wool...keep her warm if she does postgrad work in Ontario Canada...BRRRRR.....BYTW Emily loved it...she said she could truly be a nerd now:>

HMMM wonder if you could knit binary code socks...that would be a hoot.... I did try to figure out how to write her name in binary but gave up...too complicated for me without a gui:>

these are my Christmas socks...sort of using a pattern from Interweave knitting magazine...the toe and heel decreases they used were crazy so i just did the regular kind...knitted with varigated washable wool from knitpicks.com....extemely reasonable at $3.99 a skein...the color is geranium but it reminds me of Christmas.....I still have lot left so I may order another and knit my sil a pair ...she can always wear them next year!!!

the purse is knitted out of the awesome colored Noro yarns...I just love it...
Noro from our local fabulous knitting store...we are lucky to have two...In stitches and hmm Knit Together which is where this yarn came from....
Ok two more pairs of socks...lets see I think that is it....The pink ones are made with Trekking (XXL) from Knit Together and the second some hand dyed yarn I got off the internet...yummy brown...think its called fall and is Supersock hand dyed yarn from Cherry Tree Hill
lovely washable yarn in a very fine weight...$22 a skein but you only need one...the colors are every bit as lovley as they show on their website....
