More daily drawings

I have been doing it for a week and a day now...so does that mean its a habit?? Still have to do a landscape for the challenge...really silly since I live in the middle of one that I have not already done one...

This is a sketch of a character in a trilogy that I have been reading by Cornelia Funke - Inkheart and Inkspell. She is the third best selling childrens author after JK Rowling and RL Stine...

Its a fantasy about what would happen if people who can read a story aloud and characters spring to life from the book. This is a sketch of my idea of what the fictional author of the book Inkheart looks like...oddly enough Funke draws all of her characters BEFORE she writes about them...wonder what her drawing of Fenoglio looks like

Keys...one of the challenges...who knows which one??? And more cat sketches...they are always doing something interesting....Big Kitty sleeps in the oddest places....here he is on the printer...he also has been known to sleep in the bathroom sink....

And last but not least Tom the quilt cat posing on his favorite sleeping spot....a quilt....

Great sketches Maggie - I especially love the ones of your cat! You're doing a great job sticking to your drawing resolutions - wish I could say the same!

Wonderful daily sketches. You know its beyond a habit and into addiction when you have no choice but to sketch everyday....several times a day.

The face is great and the cats--the cats are always so much fun.

Great sketches, keep them up. I find that the hardest part, something happens and the day has gone.

Hi Margaret, I'm really into studying lines at the moment and I really like the way you use yours, it's so expressive and full of character, they're great sketches!
