A new challenge, an old challenge and a few daily drawings...

t

Ok these are new old landscapes....been just crazy busy and back to work so I didnt do the landscape but I posted ones I have already done....hmmm I could post several that I have already done out the back window...as my friends say...the river is like an ever changing painting....the trees dont change as much but are interesting against the changing backdrop of the river and the sky...Take your pic...all but one are of the same trees -the sycamores on the right or the left of our lot...and the trees across the river...

OH the thread painted "quilts" (think of it as drawing with your sewing machine instead of pencils and using different colored threads to change the colors!) if you can call them that have been exhibited all over the world and published in Quilting Arts Magazine and in The Creative Journal Book(some of them). I only own two of them now and they both happen to be at my sons house in Atlanta...think I need them back:>

And I did the sweet challenge....but forgot to post it....i was going to color the silver bells as they are frequently called by southerners...they were such pretty colors...but OOPS they got eaten again....:>

And then there are my daily drawings....these are a few of them...Charlie staring at the sliding door which is reflecting him...he wanted out to eat the outside kitty, bad kitty's food....didnt he pose well??? He never did get to eat the cat food....he thinks of them as kitty snacks...

My beloved camera and the dohkey again...when i first started teaching the kids said it was a dohky and I didnt have a clue what they were talking about...it was a doorkey...

And big kitty obligingly posing on the big is it a woofer?

Last four sketches were done with Pigma pen #03 in my moleskine....
