Another artfilled day

I do have two quilts pinned that i hope to get quilted today...both not large...baby quilt and a large art wall quilt...got to make some more like the art quilt....they are both beautiful quilts but the art quilt will be spectacular when its done...

I had fun finishing this postcard...and no i did not do the edge by hand...i dont know why i didnt think of it sooner....i lengthened the double button hole stitch as long as i could get it...loaded the machine with gold thread....and sewed with the buttonhole stitch going outwards toward the edge instead of having it point inwards as usual...and i like the way it gave that little glittery gold line around the inside...and since a picture is worth a thousand words i will post more about this after i finish the other post cards...yes there are two more....the backs as good as the front...a marvelous michael mworaka and deborah lunn print....big wild iris or canna lillies...just the thing...and i even think that you could write on it and mail it...after all this is mail art....

lovely rain here right now...coming down in buckets...we need it so much...everything is wildly growing around here from all the rain this summer....bellas had her dive in the pool already and snoozing in her kennel...alls right with my world...and just to make you smile..this is the yard guy Mike Munoz cutting the grass in the pouring rain....if you ever need a yard guy call me...hes the best...dont you love his red white and blue rain hat...a mini umbrella....love the yellow of the mower against the bright green grass topped off with that funky rain hat:> flash went off so i had to correct the color in these...they started out as black ...oppsss...
and why do i have a yard guy...am acutely allergic to grass....as in go to the hospital...so i cant mow or usually even be around him when he mows...

Thank you for the post on my FMQ post, Maggie....
I like what you are doing here, too, on your blog.
And man, I sure would like to feel and hear that rain coming down... it is so hot here still. Oh well, soon enough it will all change.
