NO whines allowed today:>

Not playing in the dusty fabric but using the long arm at Quiltshop on the Corner...this is the quilt i did yesterday...i am calling it rainbow for now...This is actually leftover blocks from a bigger quilt that i made which one Best Use of Color at the Asheville Quilt Show...my how time does fly!!

This top was made at least ten years ago because we lived at our old house when i made it...the pattern is from Kaffe Fassetts first quilt book Glorious Patchwork...but its also very similar to Spools Pattern i think...the square has a light side and a dark side...the center patch has two matching prints and a light one and a dark one...It is made from every Hoffman Batik stripe that i could find on the market at the time...i still have a few left...like the wider purple stripe and blue stripe...and i think the green with turq and pink and yellow stripe...i treasure them and use them sparingly:> dont ask me why i like those stripes but i do!!...and i love this quilti enhanced this picture to show the quilting...its done in circles or waves in lime green in an allover pattern...was quite fun to do....

and heres the next heap waiting in the laundry shute...think these can wait till i quit sneezing...and the zyrtec takes over....sneezing and sleepy today...did i say zyrtec makes me asoooosoo sleepy..hmmm but then why did i keep waking up all nite....:> no whining right:>

SMOOSHY HUGS to everyone...youngest son and his girl and parents are coming today...more family on Sunday its going to be a LOVELY weekend!!!

Love stripes! Great quilt. At least weather is nice enough to open the windows and let the dust mites out!
