Worked over time for sure
Yesterday I worked long and hard on this Lady trying to meet the deadline...I did barely I think...I mean I hope I did
the lady is made with a fq of fabric from Caryl Breyers Fallerts line of fabric. Her face is hand drawn on a peach batik with oil pastels. Her dress is made from hand painted cheese cloth ...her hair is made from silk scraps as is her head band...ripped strips of velvet for the "plants" and some hand dyed ribbons I swiped from Kim Massey last week...thanks Kim!! The ribbon is perfect isnt it. When I dyed I mean painted the cheee cloth I also painted some silk ribbons to use...
Silk was ruched and stitched down with black core madiera and supertwist given to me by a lovely lady in RockHill at one of my classes there a couple of years ago.
Then I beaded and beaded and then I beaded some more....she was a good excuse for a couple of trips to local bead shops....shes quilted with superior rainbows....
