so i actually have been drawing

and heres the first post...
Jazz on her favorite down pillow...or maybe i should call this WHATS UP? moleskine sketch book with prismacolor pencil

Jazz said to tell everyone that shes feeling much better...that weight loss of three pounds and her new NOT so yummy diet of Natures Balance dog food has her going...her nose stays wet and the wierdest thing...her hot spots have cleared up...vet said it was fleas...I say it was the IAMS dog food...in the green bag...she hasnt had any meds for chewing since Labor day weekend..no predisone, no zyrtex...shes like a new dog...peppy and so affectionate...evidently she is feeling MUCH better...recovering very well from her pancreatitis!

OK there is a river out there but you couldnt tell this morning could you?? PEA soup fog!

A memory drawing? and the crazy things jack russells do

I drew this one from memory and it has all kinds of problems...jazz's head is too small, the toilet...well the back is the same size as the bowl...now thats a problem..think i will redraw it from life when i take a nice long bath this afternoon...all i have to do is throw the ball in the toilet and she will sit there for hours wanting it...patiently waiting and waiting...bytw the ball is now in the trash can in the bathroom and i found her another one at school...evidently Aetna passed out these squeezy apples to all the teachers...

The story that goes with this is funny...we have a deep jacuzzi tub which i love to loaf in and read paperback books..currently sucking up all the Laurie R. King books. Anyway jazz brings me money to throw so she can fetch it...and i launch it blindly similar to a pitching machine...she puts it my hand and i flip it whereever....but this time we were using a squishy apple ball...it ended up in the toilet...i thought she had gotten tired of our game or couldnt find it and gave up...but when i got out of the tub...she was pointing at the toilet like the RCA VICTOR dogs(also Jack Russells) ...she had been sitting there for at least a half an hour..now shes too short to see into the toilet...so how did she know it was there? she didnt see it go in...she could smell it...thats the only option left....

So there are only SEVEN days to go...

funny to think when this challenge is over school will be over too...at least till AUG 13....yahoo:>

and for those of you who are counting..theres another sketch but its only half way done...really bad...or should i say scratchy...will finish it up tonite and post it tomorrow...anyone who has ever taught school KNOWS that the last week of school is just hectic crazy and exhausting...we had a cookout picnic for the kindergartners today...i fixed the hotdogs BUT I drew the line at parents who said i want ketchup mustard and relish ..not even a please...told them adults fixed their own...and sweat was dripping down our faces in the hot bald sun.....not too sanitary...but they were only looking at the hotdogs....
Jazz sleeping on the sofa...and i joined her as soon as i put my paint brush down!!
These are some drawings from my after school class: a purse with a doodle and some classmates who were looking good until i smeared the gel pen i was using...guess what room our class is in?
