Drawings May 2 & 3 - so I am practicing...and boy do I need it...
This is a contour drawing I did of a pic on tv...then i colored it in...guy sitting on the sofa with a sheltie ...does not look a thing like the guy...dog not too bad...TWOOOO NOSES...oh these are done with pitt pens and prismacolor pencils and art stixs...

I really like your 'guy' sketches, especially your contemplative one. Yes, colour is both fun and a saving grace at times, isn't it? ^g^ Sue
Don't be so hard on yourself, Maggie - 3/4 views are hard to do and you've got a good perspective on the curve of his face. I'd say this is successful practice indeed!
