Cashiers watercolors& EDM challenge 78

Just thought this was a cool picture of spider...he was making a web between my rear view mirror and the door. I noticed him as I stopped to take a picture of this house that is for sale...of course hes probably no longer living...sorry spider...I wanted to remove you from your perch but just could not quite do it...BYTW the house is lovely and is only $1,000,000 if you need a vacation house in Cashiers...its an absolute Cadillac of a house with every option you can have in a house from Hard wood floors to a cool window between the granite counter and the beautiful kitchen cabinets so you can see the stunning view of the mountains .....if I had a million laying around I would be packing our house and moving up the road...So Souvenirs worked great for me...did a couple of pages of them...both things that I had picked up while on vacation hither and yon this summer and then a second one of our weekend and postcards that I have collected or painted in the last couple of months......fun topic....now if I can find this weeks and get it done in a timely manner...and I still have a stack of leaves to draw....I mean they are souvenirs arent they??We spent the weekend doing artsy stuff in Cashiers NC at a friends LOVELY mountain house...a trip to Asheville...more about that later...here are pics of some of the watercolors that I did....

A couple of rainbow trout postcards....the green one is NOT shaped like a trout so had to do it again...dh would know the difference...sorry the second one is blurry...will replace it IF I have time...A fun little travel trailer...okay so it was originally a teeny tiny picture card thaht I found...not even a 2"x3" card but its a joke that Ille and another friend has so we thought she needed this postcard...we decided we each needed our own teeny trailer with flowers and a central room to draw paint and sew in...circle those trailers up ladies!!A couple of Great SmokeyMt pics with fog....quickies...one is done with watercolor pencils and I imagined this one.... one with DS watercolors done from a postcard...wanted to see if I could paint the washed background effect....A plein aire watercolor(11X18) of the stream in the backyard of the house we were staying in...Some blackberries Ille picked out on the road in front of the house in glass maple leaf dish....Ille in our art studio...how could you not be creative in such a gorgeous place to paint?..and some sweet black eyed susans on my way out of the neighborhood...
