one more turning twenty again

quilt made from my stash of african fabrics...sewed it together yesterday afternoon...been sitting around for several days unsewn but was too busy gardening to get this top together....kind of interesting isnt it??

Will post a better picture later but this one was sewn together VERY randomly...unless the piece of fabric matched the one I was sewing it too I used the first one in the stack...When I sewed the blocks together...made two random stacks of ten blocks and sewed them together by twos and then fours. Sewed the rows together...no preplanning...and its wild and fun I think...and also interesting the way the colors play together...

I love all these fantastic colors. I applaud you for finding the time in the midst of your art and gardening to quilt.

I like this quilt top. I have the pattern and I have a pile of African fabrics bought at IQF Houston a few years ago - never considered combining the two. Yours is stunning!
