CLock challenge and

a few daily drawings...of great variety...

I was helping one of the fifth grade teachers test today for the 6 or 7th day and I noticed her clock suspended from the ceiling with a string of paperclips...I thought perfect...here is my challenge...so i journaled about the clock when i got home, added a few faces of "kids" the days directions...a few well i call them haikus for lack of a better term...and in general as the kids did today brainstormed what clocks meant to us today and mean from day to day at work...it really was fun..

another cat drawing...tom is so obliging....

the kids LOVE to have me draw them in my book...they dont care if it looks like them or not...here are a few of the latest... they are so funny..they think if you major in art you MUST be famous...and rich...because if you are famous you have to be rich...Oh and the last one is another from watching All Creatures Great and Small...the housekeeper from the special who burnt all the food...even the bit of beef they scrapped together thier rations for....turned out she was allergic to dogs and cats so Siegfrid did not have to suck it up and fire her...of course he did not tell his brother and James....this is in the kitchen at Skeldale house...that is NOT a pipe coming out of her mouth:>

Hanging from the ceiling with paper clips!!!! Good grief, look out below! But it is a great clock and love the kids. I love that saucy look on the cat's face.

I love looking at what you come up with! I also love the clock and your style about journaling all around it and making it a part of the art. I can't say anything about the kids other than I love them. Great earthiness.

These are great, I love the kitty! Cats always seem to want to sit ON things, especially new things, a new magazine, a new bag, a new thing of material. I guess they have to give it their "stamp" of approval, LOL. :)

I love the way you've filled the page with colour. And the sketches are great. Wonderful job Margaret!

Hi Maggie - I love your clock and actually all your skethes - my favorite being Tom - you really got his personality there. How luck to be able to use all your little students as models! Those came out beautifully as well.

I, too, like the way you drew a bunch of things and journalled around it. That makes it very unique and interesting. Very nice work.

I like your sketches of the clock, kitty and kids. All are great! I am also a fan of the All Creatures Great and Small shows. And books. The characters and animals are very heartwarming.
