Another view thru the window...
well does this count as that challenge...its a flower with the view in the window behind it...done in wc pencil in my moleskine...a vase and hydrangea at my sons girlfriends apartment in Atlanta...
I used the paper viewfinder we made in class to compose this one and i really like the way it turned out... OK i hear you ..saying SOCKS???? but i did just finish them...and they are lovely soft colors in the softest merino wool...wonder if it will be cool enough on sat to wear them...going down to 85...yeah right...well a girl can long for crisp fall weather right??
ok so i also finished a pair of socks made from Cherry Tree Hills hand dyed merino sock yarn...lovely soft stuff...i think the color is Java Jive or Java something or other...and not to be too lazy i started another pair...this is yarn my son picked out for his girlfriend..he was so thoughtful...he actually went in a yarn store to please his mom and then he went thru all the sock yarn and the color charts of the different kinds picking this one because it had all her favorite colors in it...
I am getting a headstart on Christmas with my knitting...at least thats my story...
tomorrow i hope i get some pictures of the quilt i am working on up...yes i am actually sewing...one block wonder and what a pain that thing is...too many small pieces...too much pinning pinning pinning but its turning out gorgeous so i hope it will be worth it...IF it lays flat...we shall see
off to sew

Nice watercolor!
Oh, and I love colorful socks!
You've been quite busy!! Your painting is lovely. Nice socks, too!
Your pictures are great. No sense in being a total slave to the challenges!
And you are a knitter too! Multi-talented in all the right directions! I really need to get back to knitting although with the temps over 100 degrees (fahrenheit)now, I don't think it will be too soon.
