WILDLY madly knitting hats part 2

It absolutely blows my mind to see 2009 as the file name i have to look for pictures under...how can it be 2009??? Where have the years gone? I know my son thinks I have probably lost my mind knitting these crazy hats but the play of colors in them just makes me happy...its what i like about Noro yarns(Kureyon) you can try to control it but you get alot of yarn that you have LOST control of ..and then you get lots of serendipitous colors next to each other......lots of heaps of the blacks and greys on the coffee table in front of the sofa where i madly knit...

This hat was made from combined leftovers of the last three Noro hats...or was it two...am losing count...

I have one more hat that i made for one of my three year old nieces who are both sick with some bronchitisy disease...this was made with leftover Lambs Pride Bulky which is just the loveliest wool...i am sure it would be fabulous to needle felt...but no I madly knit it up ...
I have to knit a second hat out of the mess that our new dog made of the yarn last nite while we went to the movies...it was strung all over the den and the kitchen....you would have thought a cat had been busy...so now i have to untangle ALOT before i can start the second one...do you think she was trying to tell us to pay attention to her...notice there are two dog toys right by the yarn...she likes to rip these up...she probably thought the yarn was just bigger stringy toysfor her to rip up...or maybe she wants a doggy coat???? Its cold again outside:>

Amy the culprit a jack russell mix from the Fulton County pound...she is settling down after two months into a good dog but she does love to rip up toys...a typical JR thing but NOT the yarn AMY!!!! She knew she was in trouble last nite...she didnt chase the cat once...and she loves to play with the cat...poor cat....BYTW Jack Russells are probably why i bought the book Men Who Knit and the dogs who love them(Lark books)...theres a JR that looks just like our well behaved one on the cover...except ours has a brown spot on her left eye and ear...

ANYWAY check for hat #6 shortly coming to a blog near you:>
