If you look closely you will be able to see FMQ dragon flies quilted with black core madiera...was it gold??? in the border of this quilt. The only thing that I marked on them was the "spine" or body of the dragon fly so that I would get htem in the right spot. I was quilting at top speed on my old Brother PQ 1500 so you dont have time to think much about where you are at 1500 stitches a minute! The dragon flies are all the way around the border of this quilt.
