These are done on 140 lb watercolor with my NEW Daniel Smith WC I got last week...the colors are just fabulous I think...and I tried to make the colors run together....I think they really look velvety like peaches do...This is the first one I did
and this is the second one that I did...
I was going to eat this peach as a snack but it was not quite ripe...and then I was going to draw it yesterday but it was boring...course I did not put it up but moved it...it was much more interesting on the side of the plate...and its not easy to match the green of a Fiesta ware plate...but I think I did ok dont you? The green ones are my favorite color.

I agree with Lin, these are delicious and, yes velvety! Oh I can not wait 'til summer and the smell of fresh summer fruit especially peaches....yum!

I like them both but I think you captured the fuzziness better on the first one. I just got some new WCs from Daniel Smith. I'll try them on a postcard. Thanks for the idea.
