So of course I painted some more postcard wc paintings last nite and I worked on the Elkmont painting ....needs work still so will save it for later...These were all done with Daniel Smith WC.
I did the poor peach without the plate....really like this one...new angle...going to eat it in a minute...which is why I said POOR peach...I really like this one alot...think I have the peach down pretty well now...
Then I painted another view of the house in Elkmont across the field from the back of the house...crazy roof...so many peaks and angles...I really like the way the two firs and the field turned out....for a small size painting this one took ALOT of time....
The next one is a lily I took a picture of while we were in Gatlinburg...plain old lily nothing fancy growing by this odd huge seemingly abandoned building that was an inn at one time. I dont like this one alot...I am not sure why but well there it is...
Hmm the more I look at this orchid the better I like it...
Last one is a picture of one the orchids from Atlanta Botanical Society. Think it needs a little more color in the background...kind of bland...
