Bella Nonna bag and those !@#$ straps are turned

Here is a picture of a fun quick bag that I made yesterday....and have some great scraps...maybe postcard stuff when I get home....this is called the Bella NOnna Happy Bag and is it ever huge....and it expands...side ties make it look nice nad neat or it grows 6" wide on each end...to enormous...I made it out of scrap strips that I have....and FMQ mostly in the ditch....

Side view shows the ties....once I quit using the turning tubes it was a breeze...used one of the brass tubes minus its colored plastic ring and a skewer ...zip zap DONE....thank goodness....and this is the black kitty strap...turned allt hese tubes to at the same time....they had to be braided and still need to be sewn on SOMEHOW...
