IN TWO museum shows...did I say I was clapping my hands?!;>

Did I say I have two art quilts in museum shows...First Lady Nolly was juried into Considering Quilts and is causing quite a stir according to a little bird who told me...Lady Nolly is residing in comfort for the next month or so at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach Fla. Shes keeping Pamela Allens quilt company.

Monday I got notice that my Coral Reef has been juried into a show at The Anderson Center for the arts in Anderson SC. This is a juried art show of mostly paintings and sculpture and the Coral Reef got in. Same Coral Reef a certain judge recently said had strings on it...well the fabric was ripped you would have strings on you too if you were ripped....all i can say is sommeeee judges...obviously this did not bother the jury in Anderson. They have seen alot of art in the 31 years they have been running their show....Coral Reef is MUCH larger than Lady Nolly ...guess I need to take new pictures...I have also been asked to help illustrate a JR book...thats Jack Russell to the rest of the non JR world...now if some of this would just keep me in the style to which I could become accustomed?!!:>

Congratulations, Maggie! That's wonderful news. It's time for all of us to make the adventure into the ART world beyond the art/quilt domain - or so it seems to me.
