I am a beginning watercolor student -- so, my advice is probably pretty thin! But, I would begin by laying down a wash of light gray for the sky -- then a wash of yellow in the middle of the paper. Then, you would begin laying in the dark parts over the yellow -- leaving those bright yellow leaves to shine through. Paint out evrything that is not a shining leaf! Then, deal with the lake and reflections below! So, let us know how it comes out!!! I'm thinking of printing it out and trying it myself. Will let you know if I do! Penny
