whats on sale at michaels

Spent too much money there Sunday but the clerk helped me out giving me some coupons...they had NOT been in the paper i bought JUST for the coupons.....all is well though...i had a purse full of them when i left...

Today at lunch i was perusing the Michaels Sales ad with my friend...and there is alot of stuff on sale in the way of art supplies at 40% off...including Liquitex paints, Loew Cornell, Strathmore papers, Prismacolor pencils and sets, Winton(never heard of them!)...what else all kinds of other interesting things..

SKETCH OF MY NEW TOTE....too many turquoise blocks but otherwise i like it...its always something isnt it?!

This is what i bought in the scrap book department.....yes i admit i was skulking thru the scrapbook department looking for pens......I got this really cool tote to put all my pencils and brushes and my WN field wc kit in ...It was usually $19.99 but was a mere $11.99...has a jillion small pockets.around the outsides....will hold small sketch books, pens, even small pockets perfect size for my cellphone...and a little drawer underneath that i will probalbly load up only to forget WHAT I put in it...also has a zippered pocket on one side...its meant for scrap booking but I think it will work great to get all those 120 watercolors out of the box so i will use them...and it will hold my huge box of Prismacolor pencils too...I seem to never use them because they are such a pain sitting in the box with all those trays....

Too cool. You should have got two for the spill over of stuff that doesn't all fit in the first one...hehehehe

oh..and the Rambler...I have people. Actually a buddy of mine is into old cars and does restoration work on oldies but goodies.

Awesome drawing...I'd love going shopping with you-we could really do some damage I'm afraid! :)

I love your journal page. I know what you mean about getting the pencils/watercolors out of the box/carton. Good luck. I bought a tackle box, but it's heavy.

I actually have to visit Michael's today for some frames, and now I think I have something new to look for as well! I need something like this, as all my supplies are in little bags floating around the house, so this will be perfect.

And great drawing of a complicated object!

Oh Maggie, I may have to have one of these. Perfect for road trips! Nice sketch, too.
